Bowling coaching for youths

BOWLS Scotland has teamed up with the Arbroath Bowling Club School Project to offer youth coaching sessions for Ladyloan Primary School pupils at the club’s Dishlandhill green.

They will start on Sunday, May 12, at 10 a.m. to 12 noon when a club coach will take the class of 12 and 13-year-olds who wish to further their bowling skills. It is hoped this will then lead them to become associate or full members. The project was instigated by Bowls Scotland to try and stop the natural decline in membership throughout the district.
