A team of young people from Dundee & Angus Battalion has won a trophy at The Boys’ Brigade annual Scottish Cross-Country Championships. They scooped the trophy for completing the Intermediate Team race of 4km in the quickest time at the competition at Tulliallan Castle on Saturday, March 7. The Boys’ Brigade Scottish Cross-Country Championships brings together more than 200 young people aged between 11 and 18, from across Scotland, to compete in a series of races including a gruelling 5km challenge. The team was presented with its trophy by Councillor Willie Ferguson. Bill Stevenson, director, Scotland of The Boys’ Brigade, said: “It was terrific to see so many young people get involved. Tulliallan Castle was a superb venue and well done to everyone who took part.”
