Arbroath Community Sports Club’s 2004 team are stripped for success this season after donating half their kit money to a local Cancer charity.
The Under-12s side recently held a bonus ball raffle with 49 Angus-based companies paying £20 a head for the chance to become the club’s shirt sponsor.
Reid Hydraulic Services were the lucky winners of the draw that raised in excess of £1000 to kit out the ACSC team.
But kind-hearted ACSC bosses refused to keep all the money - handing over £590 to a local MacMillan Cancer charity.
ACSC coach Martin Tosh said: “We are very grateful to all the companies and businesses who took part in the draw and will proudly wear Reids Hydraulic Services on our strip.
“But we wanted to give something back to the local community.”
