ARBROATH Vics have begun pre-season training for the 2009-2010 campaign, which is due to get under way with a DJ Laing League Cup tie away to Montrose Roselea on August 8.
Manager Jake Ferrier has fixed up former Lochee United and ASC midfielder Paul Durno, from Dundee North End.
Vics have arranged four pre-season friendlies, which are: Aberdeen Parkvale, away, Saturday, July 18; Lewis United, home, Saturday, July 25; Glenrothes, home, Saturday, August 1, and Carnoustie YM, home, Tuesday, August 4.
