AFTER only his first full year of competing in the Scottish Championship series of motorcycle racing, Friockheim lad Andrew Lawson (19), has won five trophies.
He came back from the recent annual awards ceremony at Haddington with two for winning the Scottish Minitwin Championship; a cup for being second in the Open Championship; and two for his second place in the Isle of Man Grand Prix, including the Pat Prosser Trophy.

Andrew's bike is a Suzuki SV650, and he is accompanied to the meetings by his dad, another well-known motorcyclist, Mike Lawson.

Andrew is now looking forward to the 2010 season, and the first meeting at Mallory Park.
