MICHELLE'S A RECORD BREAKER

ARBROATH and District athlete Michelle Durbidge broke the club's under-20 and senior discus record whilst competing at the Scottish Athletics 117th Senior Scottish National Championships.
Her throw of 31.83 broke a record that had stood for 13 years. Michelle also broke the senior shot-putt record.

Results: Women, discus – 6, M. Durbidge, 31.83 (new club record); 8, M.J. Durbidge, 25.52: javelin – silver, P. Murray, 34.55: hammer – 8, P. Murray, 31.08: shot-putt – bronze, M. Durbidge, 11.84; 7, P. Murray, 8.54: Men, javelin – 4, A. Smith, 51.52.

There will be no Saturday training over the month of July, although week-day training will continue as normal.
