IN A sensational signing coup on Friday afternoon, former Lichtie Gavin Swankie (26), put pen to paper to rejoin his old club.
The ex-St Johnstone striker will be in the squad for tomorrow's cup tie at Dunfermline, and the faithful travelling support will be looking to see him in action for at least part of the game.

Club director Malcolm Fairweather told the Arbroath Herald a few minutes after the deal was done: "This is a really big signing for the club and we welcome Gavin back to Gayfield.

"We are sure the fans will be glad to see him return and we hope it is reflected in season ticket sales."

Mr Fairweather revealed that several other clubs had been interested in Swankie, but that the offer from his old club was the one that he found most attractive.
