FINALS TIME AT LOCAL GOLF CLUBS

ARBROATH Artisan Golf Club will hold its finals day on July 11 when the first tee-off time is 11.15 a.m. The second round gets under way at approximately 3 p.m.
The finals to be played are: Club Championship, James Kirk Trophy, Junior Club Championship, Knox Salver and Ladies' Club Championship.

Members are asked to tick their names off if they are available to play.

Sunday saw the culmination of the L
etham Grange Golf Club's premier competitions.

Keith Law won the Club Championship, defeating Walt Forbes over 36 holes.

Terry Cruickshank overcame stout resistance from Dave Dawson to win the Marshall Quaich.

Heather Miller beat Cathie Beattie to win the MacGregor Trophy in the Ladies' Championship final, while Jamie Milne became Junior Club Champion and Thomas Halder won the Junior Handicap Champion.

In the weekly competitions, K.Galloway won the Wednesday Glens Sweep, Graeme McGinnis won the Saturday Glens Sweep and Martin Lawrie came out on top in the Sunday Glens Stableford.
