ASC kicked off and might have taken the lead within 10 seconds. After a goalmouth scramble, Forfar's attempted clearance rebounded off
the ASC forward and just went wide of the target.
Still within the first minute, a poor header out of defence from Millar landed on the chest of Sturrock whose volley whizzed just over the bar.
Albion levelled when Archibald broke down the right for Forfar and although his cross came back off the defender before striking him and going out, the referee awarded a corner which resulted in a goalmouth scramble. When Duff's poor clearance landed at the feet of STORRIE he struck the ball home from six yards to level the game.
Shortly after the restart, ASC went back in front. A corner was floated in and ASC had strong appeals for a penalty waved away by the referee when Crosby appeared to knock the ball down with his arm. However, Sievwright played on and squared the ball to FORBES who cracked it home from 16 yards to put ASC back in front with 52 minutes played.
The home side had chances to make the game safe and were made to pay for their missed opportunities when a long clearance by Forfar left MILLAR alone to lob the advancing Logie to level the match for the second time.
Forfar seemed to be happy with the draw but ASC continued to push forward and they were rewarded four minutes into injury time when McFarlane broke quickly down the left and with an inch-perfect cross found ALDERSHAW who had the easiest of tasks to head into an empty net.
