NAMES and entries for Grassroots competition, Scottish Singles and Scottish Doubles must be with Steve Webster no later than tomorrow (Saturday) to allow them to be paid to the SPA on Sunday. Steve can be contacted on the pool mobile 07835-338847.
The draws will be made and posted after that point. Qualifiers will be awarded by the SPA on a pro-rata basis, meaning the more entries we submit, the more qualifiers we will receive. As an example last year, 34 entries for the Scottish Singles gave us five Arbroath players through to the last 128.

In a departure from previous years and to encourage a higher entry, rather than set play-off dates, the committee is going to allow players to arrange all their own matches at a mutually agreed time and venue. Results are then to be 'phoned in to the usual number to allow the website to be updated.

Format will be best of 11 frames for all matches.

Entry fees are £5 per player for both the Grassroots and Scottish Singles and £10 per pair for the Doubles.

A full list of players already entered is available on the website.
