TWENTY-FIVE of the best young dancers from across Scotland will perform at Arbroath’s Webster Memorial Theatre next month as part of a Scottish tour.
They will take to the road after a residency and performance at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, Glasgow, and will perform in Dunfermline, Aberdeen and Arbroath as part of the Aberdeen International Youth Festival.
Those dancers talented enough to be selected have had the opportunity to work with four professional contemporary dance choreographers - Anna Kenrick, acting artistic director, YDance; Marc Brew, freelance choreographer, dancer and teacher; Ruth Mills, choreographer, dancer and teacher; and Yvonne Young, assistant director, YDance.
Audiences in Arbroath on Friday, July 29, will be treated to an exiting and eclectic new programme of dance performed by some of Scotland’s most promising young dancers.
