Britain’s top ventriloquist comedian Nina Conti is to take her new show In Your Face to Aberdeen’s Music Hall on Friday, October 30, for a masked ball with a difference.
The British Comedy Award winner has already stormed Live at the Apollo, Russell Howard’s Good News, Sunday Night at the Palladium, and made a BAFTA nominated film - all without moving her lips.
This year, on her largest scale UK tour ever, she will create a new show each night by plucking inspiration from the audience, and tickets for Nina’s Aberdeen show are on sale at online at www.aberdeenperformingarts.com, by phone at 01224 641122 and at Aberdeen Box Office at the Music Hall and His Majesty’s Theatre.
“We are thrilled to add Nina to our amazing comedy line-up at the Music Hall,” said Aberdeen Performing Arts press manager Joyce Summers.
“With Monkey and her masks, she will give fans an unforgettable night of improvised adventure never before seen on our stage.”
Nina began her career as an actress at the Royal Shakespeare Company, before the genius and anarchic theatre director Ken Campbell inspired her to become a ventriloquist.
In 2008 she won the prestigious Barry Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival for her show Complete and Utter Conti.
