Two icons of comedy set for tours

Two of the wild cards on the British comedy scene – comedians Bill Bailey and Ruby Wax – are both taking their new shows to Aberdeen’s Music Hall next year as part of UK tours.

Stand-up funnyman, musician, actor, TV and radio presenter and author Bill Bailey will stage two shows at the city venue on Monday and Tuesday, October 19 and 20, following his sell-out show at His Majesty’s Theatre last year.

Comedian, writer and mental health campaigner Ruby Wax will make her first visit to the Music Hall when she brings her new show, Sane New World, to Aberdeen on Saturday, May 9.

Best known for his live performances and tours ‘Dandelion Mind’, ‘Tinselworm’, ‘Bewilderness’ and ‘Part Troll’, Bill Bailey’s television work has included his own shows like ‘Bill Bailey’s Birdwatching Bonanza’, ‘Baboons With Bill Bailey’ and ‘Bill Bailey’s Jungle Hero’.
