TUTTIES in the Park is set to return for its seventh event with a gala day celebration on the Low Common next Sunday (July 29).
Organiser Tutties Neuk are keeping their fingers crossed for good weather for the event, which has raised thousands of pounds in previous years.
After a break last year, Tutties in the Park will be back with all of its usual family fun and entertainment.
On offer will be various stalls, a car boot sale, children’s races, tombola and a raffle.
There will also be live entertainment from bands Trade and the Cundeez as well as a beer garden with a marquee.
This year Little Cairnie Hospital will benefit from all of the proceeds raised on the day as it is a cause close to the heart of organiser Carol Shand.
And with everything in place ready for the big day next weekend, she added all they can do now is keep their fingers crossed for good weather.
Carol said: “We are hoping for a nice day because if not it might be Tutties in the pub rather than Tutties in the Park!
“All we want is to see as many people as possible to come along and have a nice day as there is lots of fun for the family.
“And hopefully we can raise as much money as we can.”
Anybody wanting to have a stall at Tutties in the Park or sell items at the car boot sale should contact Carol at Tutties to arrange this. She can be reached on 01241 873627.
