Montrose road crash woman dies tragically

A Montrose woman who was rushed to hospital after a collision on the Arbroath to Montrose Road on June 8 tragically died on Friday, June 12.

Police Scotland, Tayside Division named her as 66-year old Rose Ann Moir.

Mrs Moir’s family are upset by their sudden loss and have said that she will be greatly missed.

They do not wish to make any further comments and have requested that their privacy is respected at this difficult time.

Enquiries into the full set of circumstances of the incident are on-going and Tayside Division would appeal for anyone who may have information that could assist officers with their enquiries to contact Tayside Division on 101.

As with all sudden deaths a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
