There’s fishy goings-on in Spamalot

Arbroath Musical Society gratefully received a kind donation of £300 from fish merchant M&M Smith.

The society is producing Spamalot at The Webster Theatre Arbroath from
February 11-14.

Appropriately M&M Smith have offered to sponsor the ‘Fish Schlapping Scene’ which is the first scene in the show.

In typically quirky Monty Python style it is centred around fish, acted out by Finnish citizens ‘schlapping’ one another with fresh caught fish while singing and dancing to a very catchy tune!

A spokesperson for Arbroath Musical Society said: “We have been very lucky to attain the rights to produce such a fantastic West End Musical and we hope the public will come along and join us for what is going to be a rare treat of fun, hilarity and Monty Python nonsense!”

The show will run nightly at 7.30 p.m. and the run will include a Saturday matinee at 2.30 p.m., tickets are available now from the Webster Memorial theatre box office now on 01241 435800.

Adults are £12, concessions £10, with a family ticket for two adults and two children available at £35.
