The Edinburgh Woollen Mill is investing in a new store in the Abbeygate Shopping Centre, creating seven new jobs for Arbroath.
To celebrate the grand opening next Friday (September 23) at 9am, staff will greet the first 20 customers to make a purchase in store with a goody bag containing a scarf, candle and shortbread.
The retailer will also mark its arrival with an in-store competition rewarding 20 lucky visitors with a prize.
The first visitors to find the envelopes hidden around the store will walk away with a voucher card to spend in store.
Paul Boyfield, area manager for The Edinburgh Woollen Mill in Arbroath, said: “We are very excited to open a new store in Arbroath, creating seven new jobs for the town in the process.
“The Edinburgh Woollen Mill will be a great addition to the offering in the shopping centre and we’ll be opening just in time for the arrival of our new autumn/ winter collections.
“We’d like to welcome locals to celebrate the opening with us and we’ll have lots of fun activities in store for customers to participate in.”
The new store will feature some of the retailer’s most sought after men’s and ladies’ wear, including Country Rose, Isle, Honor Millburn, One Valley and P.G. Field, plus the latest gifts and accessories.
As part of one of the UK’s largest high street chains, the Arbroath store will join a portfolio of 380 Edinburgh Woollen Mill stores spanning the UK.
