On Saturday (June 27) the ladies of Colliston and St Vigeans SWRI hosted the Association of Country Women of the World (ACWW) charity walk.

Institutes from all over Angus took part in the walk and 50 ladies trekked the nature trail from St Vigeans to Letham Grange and back.

A total of £655.40 was raised for the ACWW.

Immediate past president of the ACWW May Kidd also gave the walkers a comprehensive talk on the charity.

The ACWW seeks to empower and support women in 70 countries across the world, promoting advocacy, equality and funding for projects.
