Surprise success for Brooke - or was it?

AN EVENING of mediumship in Arbroath on Friday contributed a surprising amount to a local cause.

Brooke’s Dream, which raises money to fund treatment for cerebral palsy sufferer Brooke Ramsay, received a cheque for £1,600 for the event in the Meadowbank Inn.

The show was at capacity with around 135 people turning up to experience something of the paranormal, but perhaps only the mediums themselves could have foreseen the success.

Brooke’s mother, Laura, said: “This was a huge success. The week before we still had about 70 or so tickets left but in the final few days they sold so quickly.

“We were so pleased with the turnout, and want to thank everyone who took part or came along for the fun.”
