ARBROATH Ladies’ Lifeboat Guild had their day in the sun this weekend, after raising a fantastic sum at Sea Fest.
The ladies set up an al fresco dining area for their Arbroath Ladies’ Lifeboat Guild Marathon Cream Tea Extravaganza where they served home-baked goods to hundreds of hungry festival-goers.
A grand total of £1,390 was raised through the sale of teas, coffees, scones and donations.
A spokesperson for Arbroath ladies’ Lifeboat Guild said: “Thanks go to the ladies and friends of the Guild who volunteered their time and energy, the crew who transformed The Shed forecourt into an al fresco dining area and, of course, all those who visited and enjoyed a fantastic cream tea experience.”
