A MAJOR Arbroath store has been doing its bit for the Children in Need appeal.
B&Q staff on the Westway Retail Park are aiming to cycle 500 miles on an exercise bike, which is the equivalent of cycling to all of their other stores in the region.
The staff began the challenge on Saturday and hope to complete the target this weekend.
In addition, they also welcomed Vanessa from Vanessa’s Chocolate fountain who set up her equipment in the store and allowed customers to sample her chocolate.
But the fund-raising doesn’t stop there as they will also be holding several events from tomorrow (Saturday).
The store’s managers will be putting themselves in the stocks and allowing wet sponges to be thrown at them for charity.
And on Sunday another five male staff members will be carrying out a sponsored wax at 1 p.m. Kyran Ferrie of Glamour-us will donate her time to carry out the waxing.
A tombola and raffle will also be held with some great prizes on offer.
