Station marks 100th birthday!

Richard Irvine was dressed as Mr Sutherland-Banks who was the first person to purchase a ticket at the Arbroath rail station 100 years ago. Various events were held at the station on Saturday to celebrate the aniversary.

THE CENTENARY of Arbroath Railway Station was celebrated on Saturday with various activities and events marking the occasion.

Singing, model railways and historical re-enactments were put on for visitors to enjoy a trip down memory lane.
