Stagecraft a credit to teacher

Stagecraft School of Dancing held their annual dancing display on Friday night at the Webster Memorial Theatre.

Pupils from ages three to over 29 had the opportunity to showcase their talent to their friends and families.

The little ones (class one and two ) demonstrated some beautiful ballerina moves then stepped it up to little ‘divas’ with great ease.

The seniors showed their versatility from pointe ballet to ‘street dance’ to tap in an array of fantastic routines. Class three, who were right ‘Little Monkeys’, once they got their dressing room door unlocked, gave the audience an entertaining version of ‘King of the Swingers’ and class 4.30 were so glamorous ‘Putting on the Ritz’.

The Tap Only class, which had pupils of all ages, thoroughly enjoyed ‘Tapping their Troubles Away’.

Thanks to all who contributed - backstage, onstage and in the auditorium. And a special thanks must go to dance director Mrs Masson who is, unfortunately, still in hospital, and who would have loved to have been there to see all her hard work come to fruition.

She would have been extremely proud to have seen what everyone had achieved.
