Our area turned out to honour the fallen and also the centenary of the start of World War One on Remembrance Sunday.
Throughout our area Remembrance Services were organised to commemorate those British service personnel who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
Remembrance Sunday parade organiser, Keith Baldry, would like to thank the community, on behalf of the Royal British Legion Arbroath Branch and trustees, for a wonderful turnout to the parade on November 9. He said: “It was very well attended and we are very grateful to the local community for their support, thank you.”
We have put together a slideshow of the services and parades held in Arbroath and the surrounding area, Carnoustie and Monifieth.
