Arbroath Abbey Theatre Club’s first production of 2015 is a frantic comedy which continues the crazy antics of the ladies of Farndale Avenue.
‘The Haunted Through Lounge and Recessed Dining Nook at Farndale’, a farce by David McGillivray and Walter Zerlin JR, sees the ladies of the Farndale Avenue Housing Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic Society make yet another spectacle of themselves!
Complete with their harassed producer and some extremely vigorous sound effects, in this sinister, spine-chilling mystery of murder and mayhem that is guaranteed to bring the house down – or at least a substantial part of the set!
Versatile as ever, the company is led by Thelma (playing the juvenile lead) with spirited support from the indomitable Mrs Reece, the unfortunate Felicity and two new recruits to the drama group.
All in all, an evening no one dares miss!
Produced and directed by Laura Adam ‘The Haunted Through Lounge And Recessed Dining Nook At Farndale’ runs at the Abbey Theatre, Abbot Street, Arbroath, from Friday, January 30, to Saturday, February 7, at 7.30 p.m., excluding Sunday. Tickets £7 on 01241 872609.
