Round Table Santa’s charity sleigh ride around Arbroath

SANTA’S sleigh will be making the rounds in Arbroath this festive season thanks to the Round Table.

The Round Tablers have put together a schedule for Old Saint Nick to follow around the town in his sleigh as he collects money for charity on Sunday, December 16.

The funds raised will go toward an old people’s party next year and donations to the comfort funds of local care homes.

Santa will be making three separate sleigh rides on the day, one in the Cliffburn / Mayfield area, one in Warddykes and the last in Kirkton.

The first stop will be in Bellevue Gardens at 3 p.m. and will finish in Ness Drive at 4.30 p.m.

The second ride in Warddykes will begin in Grampian Gardens at 5 p.m. and end in the parking area in the middle of Priory Crescent at 6.20 p.m.

The final ride in Kirkton will start at 7 p.m. at the Alldays Shop in East Kirkton Road and will come to a rest on East Kirkton Road near Ella Cargill Place at 8.30 p.m.

All times are approximate and Santa will be meeting residents for around five to 10 minutes at each stop.
