Tickets for a popular ladies’ night fund-raiser are flying out the door, according to organisers who warn that very few are left!

Arbroath Round Table’s third annual ‘Ladies’ Night’ won’t take place until August 22, but when tickets went on sale recently 253 of the 300 were sold in less than 24 hours.

This year the sights and sounds of the iconic Rydell High from ‘Grease’ will provide the backdrop for the fund-raiser which supports a number of good causes in the community.

Event spokesperson Jamie Buchan said: “We love putting on Ladies’ Night. Our first attempt two years ago was an 80s night for 100 women and last year for the Round Table Rodeo Ladies’ Night, demand for tickets was so high we had to move the venue and date twice in order to accommodate the 300 women who wanted to come.

“This year seems to be just as popular with 253 tickets sold within 24 hours of going on sale to last year’s attendees.

“Our Ladies’ Night is a surprise package - 100 ladies took a leap of faith in the first year and 300 last year. That sort of response tells you that we put on a great show and our ladies really look forward to the surprises we have in store for them!”

There are fewer than 50 tickets left on public sale, to buy one call Jamie on 07786036470.
