The new president of Arbroath Rotary Club delivered his inaugural speech at their meeting last week.

On Thursday in the Meadowbank Inn new president Ian Lamb explained his objectives for the forthcoming year. He said: “My main theme will be community involvement and with that in mind I look forward to the club working with the people of Arbroath in the delivery of various projects over the next 12 months.”

This fits with the Rotary International for Great Britain and Ireland’s tagline ‘We’re for communities’ and reflects the continued support in the town for the Rotary.

Dr John Caldwell proposed the vote of thanks.
