Arbroath Rotary Club members are gearing themselves up for their final Community involvement activities in the run up to Christmas.

President elect David Miller explained: “Our club is always very active in the few weeks before Christmas. Our local initiatives aim to bring a bit of festive cheer and give something back to the Arbroath community who have been extremely supportive of their local
Rotary Club over the past year.

“This coming Saturday (December 20), we will again have Santa in the Abbeygate from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and his final appearance will be the following Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.

“A picture with Santa costs £1 and a gift £3 with the proceeds going to CHAS and the Café Project.”

Mr Miller concluded: “The club’s own Dickensian Carollers will also be entertaining the townspeople with the group starting off at the Abbeygate at 2 p.m. on Saturday and moving down the High Street with their final performance around 3.30 p.m. at Kirk Square.

“We hope to see a good crowd coming along
and joining in with the singing.”
