ARBROATH Friends of Guiding held their annual general meeting at Guide Headquarters, Ogilvy Place, on Friday.
The chairman’s report was given by Jane Stewart who indicated that the group had enjoyed a very busy year both fund-raising and overseeing a variety of improvements to the Guide Hall.
A report was given by Arbroath District Commissioner Rosie Hill who was also presented with her five-year service award during the course of the meeting.
Rosie advised the group of the many activities undertaken by units in the town highlighting Guide and Brownie camping activities and Rainbow adventures.
After the business of the evening an interesting talk and slide presentation of their trip to Malawi last summer was given by Rachel Stewart and Jennie Marr.
