AN ANGUS charity formed to help local people with disabilities to realise their full potential through participation in the arts presented ‘Romeo and Juliet’ to an invited audience at Arbroath’s Webster Memorial Theatre on Friday.
Now in its fourth year, Art Moves’ two-week drama project explored Shakespeare with a group of adults with learning disabilities.
The charity employed theatre professionals to work with a group of individuals who are often marginalised. The success of their work dispels the myth that people with learning disabilities are unable to understand these complex stories.
