ARBROATH Ladies’ Lifeboat Guild are taking their shop on the road in the run up to Christmas.
On October 30 the RNLI shop will make an appearance at the Meadowbank Inn Craft Fair between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Entrance to the fair will be by silver collection in aid of the Arbroath Lifeboat.
On November 26 and 27 the Ladies will be setting up shop during the Third Thursday Networkers’ Gala Event at the Cliffburn Hotel.
The shop will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the Networkers are organising a raffle to raise money for Arbroath RNLI funds.
The RNLI shop is now fully stocked with Christmas items, a spokesperson for the Guild said: “With less than 80 days until Christmas, time is marching on.
“The shop is bulging with lots of cards, calendars and novelty stocking fillers.”
The ladies are holding a special Christmas card weekend on October 15 and 16 between 11 and 4 p.m on the Saturday and 12 and 4 p.m. on the Sunday.
The shop will be open every day between 2 and 4 p.m. until the end of October, when opening hours return to the usual 2 to 4 p.m. on a Saturday and Sunday when the shop is not on tour.
The next meeting of the Arbroath Ladies’ Lifeboat Guild will be on Monday, November 7 at 10 a.m. in the Sea Cadet Hall.
