Local MSP Graeme Dey visited green-fingered volunteers in Arbroath on Friday.
The Angus South member met with Cedric de Voil, the chairman and one of the directors of the HOPE Garden project found in the grounds of Hospitalfield House.
The organic garden, which began in 1994, provides valuable training and work experience opportunities for adults with learning disabilities living in Angus.
Mr Dey, who is the deputy convener of the rural affairs, climate change and environment committee, said: “It was a real pleasure to see the wonderful work being carried out by the HOPE team. Their commitment to this project and the opportunities they provide local people must be commended.”
