Video: Councillor Martyn Geddes

ARBROATH voters brought in some fresh blood to the council today (Friday) with the election of a relative unknown in ward seven.

Martyn Geddes, who stood for the Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party in the Arbroath East and Lunan ward, found himself elected with a respectable 547 votes, from among some well known Arbroath faces.

The newly minted Councillor Geddes lives in the town with his wife and runs his own web design business.

We asked the new man what it felt like to be the new kid on the block in Arbroath East and Lunan.
