CTC TAYSIDE, the local branch of the national cyclists’ organisation, has published its new programme of cycle rides taking place from April to August.
Rides take place on Saturdays, starting from various locations in the Dundee and Angus area, including Arbroath and Forfar.
Distances vary from 24 miles to 60 miles, and destinations will include the Carse of Gowrie, Scone, Lunan Bay, Glen Clova and Cupar.
Cycling is at a steady, sociable pace and there is always a sit-down lunch stop – usually chosen for the quality of cake and coffee.
CTC Tayside is a friendly cycling club that always welcomes new members.
If you enjoy cycling and would like some company, or have recently purchased a bike and would like to discover some quiet local roads on which to cycle, CTC Tayside would be very pleased to see you on one of their rides.
The next ride is on April 20 to Brechin, leaving Sainsbury’s, Dundee, at 9 a.m. prompt.
