Angus South MSP Graeme Dey is encouraging people to nominate their Angus good causes for a chance at gaining extra funding.
On Wednesday the application process opened for the Bank of Scotland Community Fund, and around 200 good causes could benefit from grants of up to £3,000.
Last year over 370,000 votes were cast and grants were used to improve the lives of more than 60,000 people across Scotland.
Mr Dey said: “I can think of many good causes across Angus who would welcome securing a grant from the Fund and I would therefore encourage local people to put these forward for consideration.”
Nominations can be made online at www.bankofscotland.co.uk/communityfund. Once nominated, groups will be invited to directly apply online. Nominations will close on April 30, with applications remaining open until May 9.
