Graeme Dey MSP will launch the Marie Curie Walk Ten at Glamis Castle on Saturday (6 September). The Angus South representative will start the night’s proceedings at 6 p.m. as hundreds of walkers set off to complete their 10k walk amid the stunning architecture and beautiful scenery of the castle, which is famed as being the childhood home of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. Organisers will be accepting last minute registrations right up until the event start.

Graeme Dey MSP said: “Fundraising events such as Marie Curie’s Walk Ten make an invaluable contribution to the work of the charity and allows it to provide excellent care and support for people with terminal illnesses and their families all across Scotland, including Angus. It’s great that so many people are due to take part in what promises to be a fantastic evening in a wonderful setting.”

Registration is £20 per person (children under-16 go free) and everyone is asked to raise as much as possible in support of Marie Curie to help fund professional end of life home care. Visit or for more information call 0845 052 4184.
