The MEFFAN has announced their 21st annual winter exhibition is now open.
This truly wonderful show runs in Forfar until Saturday, December 29 and is definitely not to be missed.
All the art on show is available to purchase so why not pop in and pick up an extra special Christmas gift for that very special person in your life.
The weaving display in the museum is proving to be very popular with all visitors.
It has been a great talking point bringing back memories of times in the mills and factories.
Although it involved a lot of hard work there was also time for lots of fun and laughter.
If you enjoy talking about past times and how things used to be in the good old days why not go to the Meffan’s Brew and a Blether on Thursday, December 13, at 10.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. for a chat about all the good old times.
Share your memories of how Christmas used to be when all you got in your stocking was a tangerine and sixpence and why the ‘First Foot’ had to be tall, dark and handsome. Or is that just wishful thinking?
Tell your stories all about the dinner dances and parties you attended. In fact, why not just go in for a Brew and a Blether. Staff and library users look forward to seeing you.
Christmas is coming! It’s official and the Meffan needs your help to decorate its tree. So for all the ‘artful dodgers’ out there why not go down to The Meffan and make a snowflake to hang on the tree.
Everyone at The Meffan would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
The Meffan will be closed on December 25 and 26 and January 1 and 2, 2013.
