Former Royal Marines of the East of Scotland branch of the Royal Marines Association held a memorial service at Barry Buddon on Sunday.

Drill Sergeant Kevin Proctor conducted the service and guest of honour was Colonel Graham Dunlop, president of RMA Scotland.

Royal Marines played a vital part in the Falklands War and every year the veterans and families of 13 servicemen from RM Condor who did not return from the conflict in the South Atlantic gather at the memorial gardens on Barry Buddon.

The campaign lasted 74 days and ended with the Argentine surrender on June 14, 1982.
