Man charged over Arbroath doorstep crime

A man will appear in court tomorrow (Tuesday) in connection with alleged doorstep crimes in Arbroath and Dundee.

As part of Operation Monarda, Police Scotland’s ongoing initiative to target bogus workmen and raise awareness of doorstep crime, a 44-year-old man was detained in Dickson Avenue, Dundee on Friday (April 29).

He has been charged in connection with a number of crimes of dishonesty, including theft, at addresses in Dundee and Arbroath that happened between February and April this year and he is expected appear at Dundee Sheriff Court tomorrow (Tuesday, May 3).
