Make a splash with the ColourRun

An Arbroath youth theatre company has organised its first, very own colourful festival which will take place next month.

The LimeLight ColourFest will take place on Saturday, July 4, and it is hoped that hundreds of folk will take part in the 5K run with a difference.

Several waves will take off from 11am until 5pm at Victoria Park and throughout the course runners will be showered with eco-friendly and safe paint powder, creating a spectacular sight. The run is suitable for all ages, with under fives going free.

Last year’s LimeLight ColourRun, which took place at Arbroath Sea Fest, attracted around 300 runners and many more are expected for this event.

Also stallholders, food vendors and amusements are expected to set up at Victoria Park to create a real carnival atmosphere, with entry to the fair free.
