AN ARBROATH team will be hoping to scoop the £25,000 jackpot when they appear on STV show ‘Postcode Challenge’ tonight (Friday).

Heather Malloch, Ali Dyer, Cath Stott and Gary Robertson, who work together in Arbroath and socialise in their free time, will go head to head with a team from Irvine in the show to battle it out for the big cash prize.

Every Friday night, Postcode Challenge, which is hosted by quiz master Angus Purden, sees two teams from across Scotland battle it out for a £25,000 jackpot.

Each team is made up of four friends who are linked by the same postcode, which is DD11 for Arbroath.

The game culminates in a tense final, where the last team standing pull together to try and scoop the jackpot. The winning team also wins £500 for a local charity.
