An Arbroath shop was today (Monday) the target of a Police Scotland raid as part of a regional operation against so-called ‘Legal Highs’.
A dozen officers swooped on ‘Evape-O-Lution’ on Brothock Bridge this morning in Operation Carinate, a three-pronged raid which saw other ‘head shops’ in Montrose and Perth hit simultaneously.
Officers were searching for controlled substances and also intended to remove for testing a quantity of New Psychoactive Substances (NPS) which the Arbroath Herald last week revealed were still being sold on the premises.
You can watch a video interview of Sergeant Gordon Fotheringham, who led the Arbroath raid, explaining more about the operation and be sure to keep up to date with developments online by following us on Twitter, @HeraldJohnston and @Arbroath_Herald. checking our website and on Facebook.
