The marksmen and women at Barry Buddon today (Saturday) for the Commonwealth Games shooting will be glad the weather has dulled somewhat.

Although it will make no difference to the indoor shooters, the likes of the Queen’s Prize and skeet competitors will be thankful of the reduced glare.

In their specially made and heavily reinforced shooting jackets the full bore shooters in particular will appreciate even a small drop in temperature.
