Tuning up for Town Mission fund-raiser

The line-up keeps expanding for the Arbroath Town Mission fund-raising gig as yet another act has been secured.

On Friday, May 16, the Town Mission hall will move to the sound of accomplished young brass musicians Con Fuoco who have added their weight to the fund-raiser.

An evening of diverse musical styles has been promised by the organisers, with vocalists singing performing everything from classical to swing, show tunes and everything in between.

Already confirmed for the concert is well-known Angus soprano Maggie Findlay who will be calling on her extensive repertoire and talent to delight the crowd.

She will be joined on stage by up and coming young soprano Layla Brown and much-loved veteran performer Doug Ford.

Tickets are selling quickly for the concert which kicks off at 7.30 p.m., they are available priced £6 from the Arbroath Town Mission office between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday to Friday; Sun Studios and also Abbey Music on Arbroath High Street and also from Doug Ford direct on 01241 879383.

All proceeds from the concert will go towards supporting the work of Arbroath Town Mission.
