A day of blues music will return to Arbroath in April thanks to the success of an inaugural festival which was held last year.
The ‘Full Day of Blues’ will take place on Saturday, April 26, and will be split between two venues, DeVitos and Coast.
Entry to the performances is free and three bands have been lined up to play, which include Paddy Maguire Blues Band, Sparo and the Yahs as well as Cry Baby and the Hoochie Coochie Boys.
The concert will be the second full day of blues held in Arbroath.
The first, last year was organised in memory of blues performer Billy Allardyce, who had recently passed away.
Organiser of the day Alfie Dickson said: “This was meant to be a one off event in remembrance of what Billy had done in his lifetime to keep the Blues alive.
“Since that day last year, we have been inundated by requests to organise another full day of blues for this year .”
