Earlier this week a group of Scouts from Arbroath were among those setting off for Blair Atholl and Scotland’s premier international camp.

On Monday, Explorer Scouts from Arbroath and Montrose District Scouts left the Keptie Scout Centre for a 10 day camp at the Blair Atholl Jamborette where they set up camp to welcome visitors from all corners of the globe.

The Explorer Scouts will be able to make new friends and invite them home to Arbroath and Montrose to experience life in Scotland. The Arbroath Scout Active Support group will be providing further hospitality with a BBQ on Sunday, August 3, at the Keptie Centre at 2 p.m. for their guests and Scouts from across the district.

Pictured before their departure are the Explorer Scouts from left back - Sandy Taylor, Aidan Elder, Daniel Burnett, Finlay Sutherland, Euan McKay, patrol leader; Callum Will, Jonathan Phillips. Front - Ross Hendry, Caitlin Anderson, Dervla Duncan-Cox, Ailsa Wallace, patrol leader; Kai Mitchell and Cameron Burns.
