Vandals have again targeted the parliamentary office of the SNP MSP for Angus South, defacing it with Nazi symbolism.

At some point between approximately 3.45 p.m. on Saturday and this morning (Monday) graffiti, including a swastika, was daubed on Graeme Dey’s office door which suggested that the Yes campaign for Scottish independence equated to Nazism.

Mr Dey said: “It’s really sad and quite pathetic that people feel the need to behave in this way, but at the same time it’s worth remembering that the vast majority are, on both sides, engaged in the independence debate and are conducting themselves in an appropriate manner.”

The incident has been reported to Police Scotland and anyone with any information should speak to any officer or contact the non-emergency number on 101.
