Two Arbroath groups have been nominated for a grant from the Bank of Scotland community fund.
Both the CAFE Project and Havilah are in the running for a £3,000 donation towards the work they do.
They are up against Dundee based organisations, the Dundee Stars Junior Ice Hockey Club and the Brae Riding School.
Members of the public are being asked to vote either online or in a Bank of Scotland branch for who they think deserves the grant.
The two with the most votes will receive £3,000 and the other two charities will receive £300.
The CAFE Project based on Brothock Bridge provides a drop-in for adults and young people with learning disabilities.
They also run a youth darts academy, chess clubs, parent and toddler groups, primary after school clubs, evening drop-ins for teenagers and activity based boys’ and girls’ groups.
Meanwhile the Havilah Project on Fisheracre works closely with the relevant statutory services to support people with addiction.
