Is it public opinion or economic pressure? That’s the question behind the looming closure of one of Arbroath’s two legal highs stores.
The Arbroath Herald was alerted this morning (Friday), by an anonymous tip-off, that Misty Heaven, a shop dealing in legal highs on Fisheracre, was set to close.
We visited the premises and discovered the ‘Misty Heaven’ sign had been removed, and although the shop still appeared to be open with stock on display and customers coming and going, an employee confirmed that the shop was indeed closing down.
Legal highs have been a divisive issue in Arbroath in recent months with the Arbroath Against Legal Highs Group leading a campaign to ban the substances from the town.
